BMS' Emma White said this production was different to anything they'd done before. 'It's just a lovely, feel-good show,' Ms Polden said. Set in the Pacific, cultural consultants and coaches have also worked on the entire production to guide the cast through correct pronunciation of the Samoan and Tokelauan languages and to choreograph traditional dance sequences. 'The cast are very excited.' Telling the story of one young girl's journey across the seven seas on a daring mission for her island, Moana Jr will be filled with familiar songs, bright dances, and the added touch of a guest performance from the Tongan Heilalas of the North West. 'It's a great story, with the kids learning a lot of stuff about cultural things they probably hadn't been exposed to before,' she said. BMS president Del Polden said the cast were thrilled to be back on stage. Dress rehearsals were busily underway for the Burnie Musical Society's young cast on Thursday as they prepared to open Disney's Moana Jr.
